“I’m Sorry” 💔 Handpainted Heart Pin
This is a little wooden heart-shaped brooch that I tediously painted a crying heart-pupiled eye, with the words “I’m Sorry” along the side. Love isn’t always pretty and positive; sometimes we f*ck up and are remorseful, this pin sort of represents that. I am an indivdual with big feelings and I constantly just want to apologize to everyone I know, romantic or platonic. Oof. Thanks for putting up with me!
This little brooch has an antique bronze pin that I glued on the back with industrial strength E6000 adhesive. I glued a bit of felt on top of it, for added comfort. The edges are a delicious metallic gold and the glitter stars are holographic! They change in the light, really hard to capture in photos. The piece is, as always, sealed with a protective varnish coat. Pin measures approx.: 1”
