“The Best Part of Waking Up is Ghosties in Your Cup” ☕️ 👻 Framed Mini Canvas Painting
I’ve had a little ghost coffee doodle in my sketchbook for a while now, so I decided to finally paint it! I feel like I really outdid myself with this one. It evolved a lot from the original drawing as I kept going.
I used acrylics on a 4x4” mini canvas panel, sealed it with a matte varnish (and then see the very last pic of this listing to see how I signed the back of the painting, which is now hidden and glued together). Then I took the white frame and paintined it black with iridescent copper highlights. I put a cardboard backing and covered it with lavender colored felt. I stamped the felt with my logo and hammered a sawtooth hanger on the back for easy hanging. The moss is real and glued on with E6000 industrial adhesive (The cardoard and felt is adhered with this strong glue as well). I also brushed black paint very lightly on top of the moss, you know, because MORE CREEPY!
Measures approx. 4.5”x 4.5 x .75” (including frame). Please handle with care as it is fragile and not intended as a toy.
