"Skullscape" Hand Painted Mini Diorama in Ornate Frame
I took canvas paper and painted a skull with a dreamy sky and placed mini artifical trees, tiny rocks foraged from my backyard and moss the bottom, giving it a 3D feel. A faint rainbow is in the soft clouds to balance out the darkness implied by the skull. The whole thing is incased in an ornate vintage looking frame, glued together by industrial strength E6000. I added a wire, so it can be displayed on a wall, but these also look charming leaning on a shelf or in a small nook/cranny.
Measures approx. 4” x 3” x .25”
