These are so so so small and were a challenge to paint, but the outcome was worth it. I used acrylic paint and sealed them with UV resin. I painted the edges gold and adorned them with golden glitter pieces. I glued studs on the back with industrial strength E6000 adhesive. I do not think these studs are hypo-allergenic, but I have sensitive skin/ears and wore them with no troubles. They are so small and lightweight that I forgot they were even on! The round piece is made out of wood and they are delicate and should be handled with care.
