“Snake Plant w/ Eyes” 👁️ 🪴 Upcycled Painting
I found this strong and sturdy wooden sign at a thrift store - it was gray and hideous with a cheesy inspirational message (vomit emoji). I took that basic thing and turned it into something much cooler, an eyeball plant! And who doesn’t adore a snake plant?
The planet needs more upcycling and less waste, so I feel pretty proud that I took something that could be overlooked (or, lets be honest, eventually tossed in a landfill) and made it into a cool art piece with a built-in frame!
I painted the frame black, and re-painted the whole back and added my logo stamp and signature. It hangs great without a sawtooth hanger, but I can hammer one on if buyer requests (at no extra charge). Piece is sealed to protect from chipping or fading.
I currently have this on display in my livingroom (until it gets snagged) and I am seriously obsessed with how much cooler the room looks with this in it! Get this while you can, I might change my mind and keep it, lol.
