“Overgrown Blues” 3x3" Acrylic Original // Handpainted Frame
My intensions with this piece definitely took a turn while painting this beauty. I started out trying to paint a blue fairy woman, but I ended up taking out the wings, then eventually her skin, haha! Whoops, now she’s a skeleton! She is emerging from the earth and has plants forcing through her in every direction as ominous eyeballs watch on in the background.
I placed her in this frame, lightly layered on a few brushstrokes of iridescent gray paint, attached a dried leaf on the bottom, and painted two green vines along the two sides. I also twisted and attached a wire to the back for easy hanging. It originally had a table stand on it, but I decided that this gorgeous queen deserves to be on display on your walls! The frame and painting are both sealed to protect them from chipping or fading.
Frame Measures Approx.: 4.25” x 4.25” .75” (Canvas panel is 3x3”)
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING MY SMOL BIZ!
