“Armadillo Abduction” 🛸 Wood Burned Painted Plaque
OH NO! This poor little armored critter is getting beamed up into an unidentified flying object. The profanity at the bottom shows you that this baby wasn’t into the experience. This idea came to me very randomly when I was brainstorming and I just went for it! Really nothing else to it except I got a strange sense of humor and a love for the animals that walk the un-beaten path in life.
This precious wooden plaque is wood burned and hand painted with acrylics. The copper edge is my fave; OH, SHINY! I made sure to give this oodles of tasty texture too. It’s reallt quite fun in person. I hammered a sawtooth hanger on the back for convienent hanging. Varnished to protect the surface of the wood and to help prevent the paint from chipping or fading.
