“Skellashrooms” Mini Framed Clay Skull with Mushrooms
I sculpted my very first skull out of air dry clay and I think it turned out pretty cool. I painted it, sealed it, put canvas paper behind it, gave it red glitter (tears or blood, you interpret) made cute little mushrooms and placed them around the skull with real moss and dried flower remnants. The entire thing is held inside of an ornate, antique looking frame. The back is signed and sealed with felt and a wire added for hanging. This is all glued together with industrial strength E6000 adhesive, and should be handled with care.
I am pleased to mention that I dropped this cutie twice while trying to photograph it, and it all held together nicely without breaking. Whew!
