I had this piece in my studio for a while. I almost gave up on it, but I found it randomly one day and decided to give it another shot! I finally figured out a way to complete it, and I’m so glad I did. I used acrylics on a small canvas and added glitter in the iris. Little amethyst stones are glued securely along the edge. I not sure if they are real stones, as they were purchased for cheap at Michael’s. The piece is completely sealed with resin, giving it a nice protective sheen. The back has four incredibly strong magnets glued on with industrial strength E6000.
