My son taught me that eyes shaped like these retro Mickey Mouse looking ones are called ‘Pie Eyes’ and I thought that was a neat fact. He’s very creative himself and doodles them often on his characters, so I guess you could say he heavily inspired this one.
Ghostie looks whimsical and ol’ timey amongst modernist art deco eyeball florals that are a rich red. I attached an eyelet screw on the top with a green ribbon. Screw can easily be removed or buyer could switch out the ribbon if they prefer. I could even attach different hardware on the backside or glue a large magnet. Just let me know if you want this switched up (no additional cost).
Painted in acrylics, piece is sealed with a Maree finish to protect the art.
