“Carnivorous Eye Plant” Wood Burned Ornament 👁️ 🌱
This ornament just sort of came out of my mind. I just relaxed and allowed whatever imagery happen. I sketched and eyeball base with a carnivorous plant sprouting from it. I painted it with iridescent acrylics and put gold star glitter pieces on the top eyelid. I added brown moss on the bottom, to look like roots. A red bead is in the center of the eye, representing the pupil. It’s pretty creepy/cool/unique. Sealed with a satin varnish for protection. This one isn’t too festive, so it could also hang on the wall as well.
