"Squirrely Spring" Clay Squirrel w Moss in Ornate Frame
I could JUST SQUEAL at the cuteness! I wasn’t sure if this was all going to work out, so I’m pleased that it did! I took some handy dandy air dry clay and made a little squirrel. I painted the squirrel (with so many layers of acrylic paint), sealed it with sating varnish and placed them within a comfy bed of live moss. I even used a tiny drop of resin to give squirrel a subtle 3D eye. Then I snazzed up one of my little antique looking frames with some faux pearls. I backed it with cardboard and a wire to hang it on the wall. It’s all sealed together with industrial strength E6000 adhesive. Item is fragile and should be handled with care!
