“Sleepy ‘Possum” Clay Painted Brooch Pin

$32.00
SOLD

A while back I wood burned an opossum sleeping in this dreamy pose, so I thought I would try my hand at modeling one in air dry clay. I painted it in acrylics and put a layer of glittery sheen on it, which is a little subtle so it may be hard to detect in the pics, sealed it with protective sealant, and used E6000 industrial strength adhesive to glue a pin and some felt on the back, thus turning what was once a ball of clay into a cute little brooch! Please keep in mind that this decorative item is very delicate, so it should be worn and handled with care.

Measures approx 1.5” x 1” .25”

This would make a great gift for the Holidays (or treat yourself, you know you can’t resist this one).
