“Mushroom Cat” 🍄 Very Small Hand Painted in Ornate Mini Frame

$42.00
SOLD

I wanted to paint a cat in a mushroom shaped hat or costume for some time. I can’t tell you why, I just thought about it before bed one time. I dediced it would look pretty cute in one of my tiny vintage looking frames, and I was correct. I paint a lot of all black cats, but decided to give this baby the exact same tuxedo cat markings that my childhood cat had. Her name was Tuxedo when I got her, but I was around 8 years-old, and I found that name to be so boring for such a wild energentic kitten. Pooey had a bad habit when she was younger that involved pooping in my mom’s poor houseplants that were in the livingroom. So, instead of calling her “Poopy” I decided it would be funny or cute to call her Pooey (technically short for ‘Pooey Tinky Uggy Butt’). Pooey was an amazing cat that lived to be 23 years old, so she was quite a force among me and my family. I thought about keeping this one all to myself, but mommy has bills to pay, y’all.

Painted in acrylics on canvas paper, glued in an ornate frame with felt and a wire with industrial strength E6000. Real moss and dried flowers are glued to the frame. Sealed with matte varnish to protect it from chipping or fading. Please handle wit care, item is fragile.

Measures 2.5” x 2”
